Summary: Larkin Hoffman is seeking to add a Sr. Business Analyst to our IT department. This position will manage and support all phases of the business systems life cycles and successfully deliver technology-related projects for the Firm including project planning, execution, preparing cost benefit analysis, and ensure successful implementation and completion. The Sr. Business Analyst will also support the smooth operation of all processes within the Firm by designing strategies that optimize relevant information technology processes and contribute to the overall technology strategy and management of the IT annual business plan and related budget. We are seeking a candidate with 4+ years of related experience and/or training with a bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Required: Proficiency using Microsoft Suite including Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Excel. General knowledge of relational databases including SQL Queries and report writing tools. Experience with law firm practice management systems.
Preferred: Familiarity with Elite 3E, iTimeKeep, NetDocuments, BEC Legal, CLIO, ARCS, project management certification.
Physical Demand: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Hours: Full time during regular Firm hours, Monday through Friday. Flexibility and ability to work additional hours based on firm demand/need with occasional after hours or weekend work as needed.
Salary: The salary range for this position is $94,500 - $109,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, the candidates’ years of experience, education, qualifications, market demands, and other organization needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage, administer, and support key business systems including practice management, accounting, billing, client management, matter management, time entry, collections, and other Firm business technologies and systems.
- Manage, administer, and support key practice group specific systems including matter management systems, docketing/case management, litigation management, and other key practice group workflow systems.
- Assist Chief Information Officer with the creation, implementation, and management of the IT strategic plan, yearly operating plan, and technology budget.
- Support and manage all phases of assigned technology-related projects for the Firm including project planning, execution, documentation of business requirements and closure.
- Manage and evaluate business systems performance metrics based on established IT service level agreements to achieve firm and department goals.
- Identify and manage problems in work processes and suggest improvements to those business processes to support the Firm and IT strategic plans, productivity, and profitability.
- Assist with reviewing and updating Firm technology policies, procedures, security policies, disaster recovery plans, in association with the IT leadership team.
- Create and maintain knowledge guides with regards to business systems operations, procedures and services provided to the firm. This includes training firm resources as needed in association with IT training and Help Desk services.
- Act as primary liaison between Firm and vendor’s account management, technical support and project resources as needed.
- As a member of the IT team, utilize and assist in improving keep operation processes such as: project management, change management, incident management, and problem management.

- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration; with 4+ years related experience and/or training.
- If no bachelor’s degree, an Associate of Arts degree, and five years of experience will be accepted. A high school diploma and 6 years of related experience can be substituted.
- Preference given to candidates with experience coming from a law firm, legal services, and/or professional services organization.
